Lithuania & Poland Hiking & Yoga Trip 3–10 October 2026

The Dzūkija National Park & Białowieża Forest

Welcome to hike and do yoga in Poland and Lithuania with a small group!

Our shared journey begins in Vilnius, Lithuania on 3 October and ends back in the same city on 10 October. You can reach Vilnius via Tallinn and Riga by land, or by direct flight from Helsinki. From Vilnius we continue by car/minibus.

Białowieża, Poland 3–7 October 2026

Ancient Forest and European Bison

Białowieża National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the last large lowland forest in Europe's deciduous forest zone. It is a remnant of the forests that covered almost the entire continent thousands of years ago. In places, the trees are up to 700 years old. The area has been said to represent the forests of the European Stone Age and early Bronze Age, where the history of nature feels alive. Alongside more familiar species, the Białowieża forest is home to the wild European bison — the largest land mammal in Europe. The terrain is fairly flat and hiking takes place along easy, gentle trails. You can book your own accommodation in the village of Białowieża, or enquire about joining shared accommodation in a single or double room. Accommodation prices are very reasonable. Feel free to ask for more information. The Niemen river flows through the national park

Dzūkija, Lithuania 7–10 October 2026

Lithuania's Largest National Park and Ethnographic Villages

The journey back to Vilnius passes through Dzūkija National Park, where we explore Lithuania's largest national park. Dzūkija is a culturally and historically rich area in south-eastern Lithuania, known for its pine forests, sandy hills, and authentic ethnographic villages where time seems to have stood still. You can book your own accommodation in the spa town of Druskininkai, or enquire about joining shared accommodation in a single or double room. Accommodation prices are affordable. Ask us for more details.

What Does the Trip Include?

We do day hikes of varying lengths in Białowieża National Park, including one day in the strictly protected zone with a local guide. On the return leg, we spend three nights in Dzūkija, Lithuania, exploring the national park as well as traditional ethnographic villages. Yoga sessions include nature yoga, supporting the hiking and encouraging connection with the natural surroundings. If it rains, we can practise indoors. Yoga sessions are suitable for everyone — including beginners! Duration: 4 nights in Białowieża, Poland 3 nights in the Lithuanian side Transport: We get around on-site by rental car. Getting There: For example, with Finnair from Helsinki. You can also travel overland via Tallinn to Vilnius by Flixbus or Elron train. Car-sharing among interested participants is also an option.
